Why Marine Ave?
Marine Ave is a street that starts at the Pacific Ocean in Manhattan Beach and it extends to the the 110 freeway. Other than it being the location where I caught my first wave in the state of California, it's an avenue that takes us through, gritty, beautiful, industrial and raw neighborhoods.. so much diversity. Lit up with graffiti, good & bad. Manicured baseball fields to uninviting fields. Countless auto mechanics full of visual inspiration. And lastly, the eclectic signage along that stretch is some of the finest in all of Los Angeles.

​The vernacular and visual documentation captured along Marine Ave is the source of endless inspiration for me - from my design work to my paintings. From the clean lines to the often sought after imperfections, this defines my creative process.

After 18 years in television, 4 Emmy's, 5 BDA awards, I decided to take the freelance path to take on a variety of projects. Past clients include NBC, ESPN, FX, Netflix, MTV, VH1, Sci-Fi Network, Nike and various ad agencies.
